Venice's First Party Store opened in Pinebrook Plaza and moved January 2008 to it's present location in the Court House Plaza.
Bobbie and David Burton had a vision. Why not open a party store in Venice? Bobbie was tired of the long drive to Sarasota, the gas and Oh' the traffic. The vision became more of a reality when David suggested doing some research on several vacant spaces in Venice. The legwork began over a year ago and in March, 2007, opened the doors to Burton's Party Store.
Starting out with just a few balloons, a section of solid party ware, a children's line, and some everyday merchandise, Burton's Party Store is now stocked with pinatas, plastic ware, table covers, gift bags, invitations, candles, banners, some streamers, an international aisle, a tropical flair aisle, sports, an oldies but goodies section and a wedding section. You will also find some favors for young and old, window paints and individual helium tanks.
As each day is a day to celebrate, we will also carry most seasonal, holiday and monthly items. Halloween costumes and decorations along with Thanksgiving, Christmas, Judaica, and New Years items will be available, just to name a few.
